Imagine you wake up with your head throbbing with the smell of the sea around you as you rock back and forth. That is how Gorath the badger felt. Gorath had been kidnapped by the sea raider Viska Longtooth and his crew. Captain Viska plans to use Gorath to break into and conquer the great Redwall Abbey. Meanwhile at the abbey young Orkwil Prink is being banished for one season because he was stealing other creatures’ possessions. Also to the east at the mountain called Salamandostron the badger lord Asheye is growing older and sends the hair maid Maudie looking for his successor. Will Gorath escape the sea raiders? Will Orkwil regain the trust of the abbeys inhabitance? Will Maudie find Asheye’s successor? All these questions will be answered as these three heroes fight against all odds with the help of friends and family.
I personally chose Eulalia because it is part of a series called The Tales of Redwall. This series consists of twenty-one books all written by Brian Jaques. This book is definitely a fantasy and is for readers of a older age and more for boys. I like the way he sets up his books like how from chapter to chapter it goes from different places and point of views. From beginning to end this book is jam packed with action and adventure. I strongly encourage all that are looking for that kind of book should read this book and the rest of the series.
